Mind battles. DC holding comic characters back. Superman v Batman. Wade vs Slade. And more!

Superman/Batman, chapter something, two boys debate over who would win out of the pair. No killing, kryptonite, bat-mite or myxptlyk *however thats spelt*.
But really, as it ended, they truly are characters who would not stop for the greater good util they were both dead, or at least one of them. Not saying that by nature they are killers, after all, if you ever read batman: Hush. You would probably, scratch that, obviously, noticed that even while superman was being controlled by poinson Ivey (who i have heard is now GOOD and working with the birds of prey, note i must look into that) he wouldn't kill giving batman that fighting chance...well, that and the fact that he's always prepared: in this case weilding a kryptonite ring.
But as i titled this post: mind battles. A little thingy i thought of to do with spare time, seeing as most people i know dislike or don't read graphic novels, a little game a freind and i could do seeing as he is the only other comic lover questionable at my age group. Also the fact that i have a phobia of needles and must keep my brain ocupied while sitting in the dental ward at the hospital.
But to quote Phantomex *who i am happy to say works well in X-force* "...The scent ignites an idea in my second brain". For me, the second brain is my little world that i have built up around myself, and comic characters come to life there.
So really: who would win? Really in war, there are no rules. I guess no kryptonite would make sence when versing a super, no killing... naw. We all have to admit, a death does make things interesting. We all love CSI and so on don't we? I mean come on, people! The whole point of these things is that the people in movies, comics, books and so on...they do what we CAN'T. They have the SUPERPOWERS. They have a whole FANTASY WORLD that we all dream of. You can not say you have never tried to see if you have super powers. When i was seven if i couldn't be bothered getting something i would try and see if i was a telekinetic. I'm happy to admit that. I'm prooud of my nerdiness. And no, i'm not an idiot: i got a $50 check from the school for being in the top  of the year and frequently win academic and sporting trophies. Really, if youi look around you will notice that the more illegent and intulectual people do better with the whole comic thing: we get more out of i than the idiots who surround us. So really a fight to the death would be alot more exciting, to stay on the subject. But of course, there has to be a limit to that, so dependingly on who is versing who you could decide on whether a fight to kill is fair or not.
But seeing as - like usual - i am hiding out on my own in a room with curtians drawn, allow me to plan out a suposed superman VS batman. Baring in mind that I hate superman. Yes, i do. Why make a hero who is undefeatable? Thats just ... well... dumb.
Paper, scissors, rock. Batman wins.
Batman plays first turn with a flash bomb, blinding superman for ten seconds. Thats all he needs. Batman moves out.
Superman gets over flash and opens eyes, of course he can hear bats heartbeat and speeds to where he is suposedly hidden.
Naturally batman is alread one step ahead and is waiting for supes, he sets off an acid spray. Superman looses his eyes once again.
Superman feels regret as he goes to hit Bats, this isn't one of those Starro fights so of course supes doesn't want to hurt him.
Batman doesn't particuly mind. It has to be done.
Then doomsday jumps in and kills them both.
Yea, you can be creative on your own terms on this one. Don't look like that, i said nothing about doomsday. I was that far away from just cheating and using green K to take out supes anyway.
But really, to pick out random characters, they could fight. But who would win?
Depends what sort of knowledge you have about them really, in a way. You forget one crucial fact and your dead.
Another prime example that has gone through the ages. Deadpool and Deathstoke. When Deadpool was first created one of the two creators instantly said he looked alot like Deathstroke. They're both Mercanries. Instantly, I know your about to say: "Hay, Deadpool wins easy!". But then there is the one problem that always gets to me with comic characters *DC espicially is terrible with this*. Just to, i dunno, make the battles longer?... They make out the character to be weaker than the actually are. Deathstroke...Slade Wilson *who has a dead stepbrother WadeWilson, who his got his drugged daughter Rose to kill in teen titans volume 2 Family lost (third release)* is incredibly strong. Not as impossible to kill as Marvel's Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, but he still has enhanced everything, and he can always see, or predict his enemies next move. He has everything planned out. If you have ever seen Sherlock holmes, one or two, the more rescent releases with Robert Downey Junior in them *who is a fantastic actor and does iron man great justice* think of the styles how he plans out each fight scene before it happens. That is probably the closest thing i can link it to for those of you who havn't got a clue. Furthermore to those people: read a few comics, Deathstrok first showed up in Tales of the new Teen titans *i think, i wasn't even born then!* and since then has showed up all over the place, even in his well deserved own series.
So Slade verse Wade... i can honestly say that in the end, due to the fact that no matter what you do to deadpool he always ends out alive, Wade would eventually win, but it would be close...beleive me.
as i mentioned before, DC letting hero's (and villans) come across to be weaker than they actually are.
Take one of my personal favourites, Raven, for example.
Raven is an empath, a demon human hybrid. Even doctor midnight decleared that when her power was partially consumed she was still very powerful. She can drain a room of emotions by accident just by walking in, she has lost control turned evil a series of times and nearly taken over the world, battles resulting in the other titans having to kill her, her killing herself, or her "real self" fighting the evil. Any way you look at her, she is powerful. In titans volume 3, fractured, she proved she is great with hand to hand combat and killing, strong, fast and making great use of her teleportation, also previously while trapped in her dark side she has taunted Donna Troy about how she can beat her, that has to say something...
to be a bit of a kiwi i will say this: Nek Minnit she's in "limbo" and unlikly to turn up very often. Why do DC hold her back when she could do so much? She can take away pain, just because she doesn't dish it back out doesn't mean she can't?
Then, there is X23, on Marvels side. She's brilliant. I'm going straight out to say it. Another one of my personal faves. Her own series... i was looking forward to it. Brought the first volume, and i had to say.. it held her back a bit too much. Not to say that the writer, Liu *yea, i can only remember her last name*, isn't doing well. When i looked it up (my good freind google), i was so disapointed her and Hellion didn't get togeter...one kiss and she leaves him?!?!?! Seriously guys, i know how hard it actually is. I practise writing scripts for my own comic *don't get pissy, its no relations to your own, totally my own imagination* and yea, it does get hard, and i'd imagine even more so when you lose what to write about. But letting things hang on so they happen latter does get annoying... You let Beast boy and Raven hang on so long that it took, from, like, issue thirty something to issue one hundred... issue 100... until they got back together. Also X doesn't care who she kills. She should be looking for trouble.
Do you not agree?
To finish todays rather... how do i put this... off topic post i will say ...
Don't hold back comic characters! The can build up and start again, play on people! Lets go go go!
Also: Mind battles. Who will win?
I am proud of my nerdiness! Though technically the dictionary form of "nerd" is a socially awkward person who focusses on one subject impartucular, and i am not nescesarily that, but you see what i mean...
To make this worth your while i will add one of my favourite Deadpool pages, i must get the volume for this, i found it on google and had to smile...
Yours sincerily, comicgirlx.

Sorry i couldn't get you the full page: bets i could find :)
